Image Tips for Men

Ok, ok.  I WILL have another website soon that is tailored for men.  And not surrounded by all of this PINK.  I hear ya.  Thanks to all the men who have been writing me about that and griping about all that damned pink here.  You're all very confident and comfortable in your manliness to have ventured in here as I just scream pink, pink, pink girliness.  Bless your hearts.  Thank you. 

1.  Groom well.  Be and smell CLEAN.  Yes, shower daily, probably twice is best.  First thing in the morning.  Put on deoderant.  You might want to put some talcum powder all around you like on your back and groin area for absorbing sweat during the day.  Sweating is fine.  BTW, you're releasing masculine pheromones that way.  Trust me, we ladies LIKE men to smell like men.  So, sweating is a good thing. 

You just worked out with weights.  Maybe you checked out the kettlebells at the gym, and you're all sweating now.  Yes, shower a second time.  Cause you just worked out.  Right?  Exactly.  Smell fresh and great.  Women really DO love it.

2.  Shave.  Razor stubble causes facial inflamation in the delicate facial skin of women when you're kissing us.  Saturday and Sundays you shave as well instead of going for weekend stubble.  Well, if your hoping to kiss us that is.  Tee hee.  Shave.  Smooth skin.  I know some men who will shave their faces using facial lotions like Oil of Olay in order to have VERY smooth facial skin. That's for when it's a very special date and there will be more kissing of a very intimate nature.  If you don't get my drift, you're too young to understand it anyway.  But that skin is even more unbelievably sensitive and tender.  If you have a mustache or goatee, be very, very careful and check often with her that you're not hurting her.  Those gasps may not be of ecstacy.

3.  Dress with authority.  OK, so I grew up in the wake of Wall Street, and I mean the actual NY financial district, the House of Morgan, the bomb marks on the wall, not the movie.  So, how shall I communicate it to you?  When a man wears even a blazer which accentuates the authoratative line of his masculine shoulders, we ladies get all aflutter.  If you're hoping for women to melt and get a little ga-ga over you, wear a blazer.  Even better, wear a SUIT.  Our toes will curl in those sexy 3.5" heels we're wearing!  Yawzha, baby!

Now let me start to utter words that will ooze into your vocabulary.  Beeeesspppppooooke.  Bespoke is phenomenal.  It is the absolutely best fit for a suit for you.  More than custom tailoring, bespoke measures YOU in more places than a custom suit so that you have an even better fit.

Part of what is so utterly fabulous with these really extra special custom-made suits for you is that your tailor can select a fabric which is most flattering to YOUR face and coloring.  If I use anymore words to describe that, you'll glaze over as it will sound too much like female-speak.  Just know that even when you are getting a Navy Pinstripe Suit or a Charcoal Grey Suit, there are variations.  Let them HELP YOU specifially select and recommend a fabric that looks really good on you.  One of the VC I've dated had his ties from there.  They were unusual.  Unique.  Not STRANGE or WEIRD.  He distinguished himself from other men to me via his ties.  He was an interesting man.  Be interesting and let your clothes communicate that for you as well.

San Francisco.  Stanford Shopping Center.  Let them also select shirts which look really good with your face and ties which coordinate unbelievably well.  Don't just do a regimental strip.  Boring.  Show a little panache.  They will help you do this.  Have the courage of your convictions to distinguish yourself from the herd of GUYZ out there and be a MAN.  They have been dressing men for success, power, and authority for decades.  Embrace this side of yourself.  You deserve it and the women will melt in your wake.  We want men to have a plan and to lead.  When you DRESS in a way that communicates that, we melt.  Really.   Trust me.  You WILL get more dates doing this. 

4. Project Self Confidence

Women are always most attracted to a man who projects a Confident image.  How is your self-confidence quotiant?  Indeed, as you practice better self-grooming you will FEEL your most confident and project Self-Confidence.  Everyone is looking for a man who will lead with confidence and poise.  Is that you?  How can you improve your self-confidence?  Are you leveraging all the tools out there to improve your Confidence and project that image?
