Are you intrigued by interracial dating?  Or "interdating" as it is also known.  Did you know that according to a 2005 Population Bulletin by Sharon M. Lee and Barry Edmonston, the percentage of all US married couples that are interracial nearly doubled in the ten years between 1990 and 2000, growing from 2.9 percent to 5.4 percent, indeed to a total of more than 3 million? That is quite an increase, is it not?

Public opinion has changed and acceptance of interracial relationships continues to grow. 

With the increase in the number of interracial and cross ethnic group marriages and romantic relationships, when you are opening yourself to the possibility of a love relationship, then you should definitely join some interracial dating sites.

Welcome to the 21st century.  In 2009 and Barrack Obabma become President of the United States.  Interracial dating is certainly no longer taboo.  It may still have a fabulously sexy element to it, but to me, that is a GOOD THING.  Dating and Romance should ALWAYS have as sexy element to it!  Or else we are JUST FRIENDS, ok?  When I lived in San Francisco and Silicon Valley the are is SO international, I cannot imagine NOT interracial dating. It is just normal here and absolutely part of dating life.  So interracially focused online dating sites help to meet that need to meet more cross ethnic group singles efficiently.

Part of the joyous creation of CHEMISTRY is to stress our differences between the sexes.  This is why often for the first few dates I will often recommend to my female clients that they wear dresses or skirts. One, they will distinguish themselves immediately from all the other women out there who are dresses very casually in life and will position you as a Lady.  And to, wearing Dresses or Skirts contrasts with the man you have your date with and his wearing slacks or pants. 

CONTRAST CREATES CHEMISTRY

Insufficient contrast and you are just platonic. 

Too much contrast creates negative friction.  You need to have sufficient value alignment to be similiar, but sufficiently contrasting differences to create CHEMISTRY! 

Now one of the things to remember in interracial dating and cross-cultural dating is that you likely have stronger differences also in your cultures.  So, many of your cultural reference points will NOT be identical.  Interracial dating and cross-cultural dating requires increased conscious communication skills. 

You will need to check reference points with each other regularly.  This is actually an added benefit because couples from the same or similar culture will often assume that they mean the same thing when they use the same words.  Interracial and cross-cultural couples KNOW that they HAVE to check in with each other about, "Honey, what do you mean by that?  What does that mean to you?  Please tell me more about that."  This actually fosters greater intimacy in your romantic relationship when you care enough to listen and draw your partner out to know them and appreciate them more fully.

So, indeed, DO consider interracial dating as you are searching for soul mate and life partner whether online or in person.  Keep yourself open to the numerous possibilities for love around you!
